Get answers to common questions about Gel French Pedicure.
A Gel French Pedicure typically lasts three to five weeks depending on nail growth, daily activities, and proper aftercare. Gel resists chips and peeling, preserving the French tip look longer than regular polish. Regular maintenance extends wear.
Yes, gel is generally safe, but we assess nail health before service. Weak, severely damaged, or infected nails may need treatment first. Our technicians use gentle techniques and recommend strengthening treatments to support healthy regrowth before applying gel.
Arrive with clean, product-free feet; avoid heavy lotions or open wounds. Remove polish beforehand if possible and bring sandals for comfort. Inform us about medical conditions so technicians can adapt the service safely.
Wait at least 24 hours before prolonged soaking, swimming, or hot tubs to allow full cure. Light moisturizing is fine immediately, but avoid oil-based products on cuticles which can lift gel. Follow our aftercare tips to maximize longevity.
Removal is performed by our technicians using safe soak-off and gentle filing to prevent damage. We do not force-peel gels. Proper removal may take 10–20 minutes per foot and includes nail care and moisturization afterward.
Plan for a 45 to 60 minute appointment for a Gel French Pedicure, including nail shaping, cuticle care, callus smoothing if needed, gel application, and curing. Allow extra time for consultations or add-on foot treatments.
