Get answers to common questions about Arm Wax (Full).
Most clients enjoy smooth arms for three to six weeks depending on hair growth, hormone levels, and skincare. Regular waxing can extend intervals as hair becomes finer. We recommend scheduling every four to six weeks for maintenance.
We use organic, gentle waxes and pre-/post-care to minimize irritation. Temporary redness or sensitivity may occur, especially on first appointments, but typically subsides within hours. Patch tests and consultation available for reactive or highly sensitive skin.
Avoid sun exposure, exfoliate gently two days before, and ensure hair is at least quarter-inch long. Do not apply oils or heavy lotions before the appointment. Notify us of medications or recent retinoid use that may affect skin sensitivity.
Sensation varies; many describe quick stinging that eases immediately. Our estheticians use calming techniques, warm wax, and targeted pressure to reduce pain. Post-wax cooling gels and gentle aftercare further soothe the skin.
Topical retinoids and certain oral medications increase skin sensitivity and risk of damage. Please inform us before booking; we may require a consultation or recommend waiting several weeks after stopping these treatments to safely proceed.
Avoid hot showers, saunas, heavy sweating, and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Use a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer and avoid exfoliation for two days. After 48 hours, exfoliate lightly twice weekly to prevent ingrown hairs and maintain smoothness.
